Camins de ronda (Coastal paths) exhibition at the Anchovy and the Salt Museum

On 6 July 2019, the temporary exhibition Camins de Ronda was opened at the Anchovy and the Salt Museum, co-produced by the Network of Maritime Museums of the Catalan Coast, of which the museum is a part. This exhibition is a project that was started in 2014 to inform about, give value to and disseminate the maritime heritage of the entire Catalan coast.

This exhibition proposes a route along the diversity of landscapes and ways of living of paths that unite the entire Catalan coast. The sample recreates and highlights the landscape and social diversity of the network of paths that follow the Catalan coast based on a script prepared by the geographer and photographer Rafael López-Monné (Tarragona, 1964).

Rafael López-Monné was, in fact, responsible for inaugurating the exhibition with a conference to inform about, give value to and disseminate the maritime heritage of the entire Catalan coast based on testimonies as close and familiar as the coastal paths.
